DIY Inspired Rae Dunn Eggs

I love all things Rae Dunn. Like really love it. But let’s be real, it is hard to find it. Unless you can spend your days stalking your closest TJ Max it just isn’t gonna happen. So, when thinking of how I was going to decorate my bar cart for spring I knew I needed some fillers and what would be better than Rae Dunn inspired Easter eggs!

And can we say easy! You need 2 supplies! Wooden eggs (I got mine at Michaels) and vinyl cut in The Skinny font. You can download the font for free at Dafont.

Once your vinyl is cut using your favorite cutting machine you are ready to label your eggs! They are perfect to nestle in among your spring and Easter decorations. Now, where else can I put these sweet little eggs?

Praying your day is blessed!

Valetine’s Day “14” Decor

This is one of my favorite crafts to do. Mostly because it is quick, easy, and inexpensive! And you can make them for holidays, birthdays and anniversaries! I purchased all of my supplies at Hobby Lobby but I am sure you can find them at most craft stores!

Supplies:

  • cardboard numbers
  • scrapbook paper
  • mod podge
  • coordinating paint
  • paint brush
  • pencil
  • scissors

Below is the video from our Facebook live!  If you hang around there is a bow tutorial at the end of the video too!

Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day? I love any reason to decorate with pink and eat lots of chocolate! What’s not to love?

XOXO,

Jessica

A Little Chandelier Makeover

Ahh… Fall! I love everything about it! The changing leaves, the chill in the air, and all things pumpkin spice. As I pull the big tubs of decorations down from the attic I giggle with excitement! Pumpkins and leaf garlands fill the boxes and before I know it the whole house feels warm and cozy. Using garland on my chandeliers is one of my favorite details when decorating. It is small but makes a big impact!!

Hoping your homes are overflowing with pumpkins and leaves and you find time sit and soak it all in!

    Happy Fall Y’all!

Target Dollar Spot Bunny Makeover

When I saw this wooden bunny in Target he jumped in my cart (along with a lot of other things we won’t tell the hubby about)! I knew I had to have him but didnt’ have a plan! Since I own a door hanger business I have my fair share of door décor so I knew putting him on a wreath wasn’t as option! So I busted out some paint and my drill and went to work! Here is what you will need to make your very own bunny décor:

*wooden bunny (or anything else that you love)

*a drill

*a dowel rod

*a wooden block (think scrap wood)

*paint

*piece of ribbon

*hot glue gun

The first thing I did was drill a hole in the bottom of the bunny being careful not to crack the little guy! I then drilled a hole in my wooden block as well. Then my favorite part, paint! I painted all 3 pieces and let them dry. I put a dab of hot glue on each end of the dowel rod to make sure they stayed in place and then put one end in the block and one end in the bunny. After I tied a sweet little bow I placed him on the mantle! The bright pop of color over my fireplace brightens up my whole family room! I just love the little guy!
